Rita A. Griesheimer joined Hochschild, Bloom & Company LLP in 1975 as a staff accountant and was promoted to partner in 1998. Her responsibilities include supervising other accountants in the many facets of personal and corporate taxation and financial statement reports. Mrs. Griesheimer also supervises many of the more complex estate and trust returns.

Educational Background and Certification

Mrs. Griesheimer graduated magna cum laude from East Central College in 1973 with an Associate in Accounting degree. In 1975 she graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Mrs. Griesheimer successfully completed the Uniform CPA examination (CPA certificate number 7232) in November 1980 and is licensed to practice in the State of Missouri.

Continuing Education

Mrs. Griesheimer participates in many staff level training courses and specialized seminars on corporate, individual and estate taxation. She attends more than 40 hours of Continuing Professional Education courses per year.

Professional Memberships

Mrs. Griesheimer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of CPAs. She is also a member of the Washington Optimist Club, on the Board of Directors for the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of many other local organizations.
